XII Workshop on Particle Correlations and Femtoscopy (WPCF2017)
On 12-16.6.2017 a XII Workshop on Particle Correlations and Femtoscopy was held in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Our student, Ing. Jindřich Lidrych (FNSPE CTU in Prague), had his presentation on Kaon femtoscopy in 200 GeV collisions at the STAR experiment. RNDr. Petr Chaloupka, Ph.D. (FNSPE CTU in Prague) and Bc. Lukáš Holub (FNSPE CTU in Prague) also attended this workshop.
Meeting of Scientific Advisory Board
Today, 15.6.2017, at the FNSPE CTU in Prague the meeting of SAB of infrastructure BNL-CZ was held. The recent activities and future plans of STAR, PHENIX, sPHENIX and phenomenology conducted at CTU in Prague, CU in Prague and NPI CAS were presented. The members of SAB are prof. Dr. Alberica Toia (IKF Goethe-Universität), prof. RNDr. Pavel Cejnar, DSc.(CU in Prague) and doc. Mgr. Alexander Kupčo, Ph.D.(Institute of Physics CAS). The physics program of the infrastructure and services provided to the users of BNL-CZ were recognized as very important and very satisfactory.
Polarized protons collisions
During the past weeks NPI ASCR and FNSPE CTU in Prague pariticipated in data collections of polarized proton collisions.

53th Karpacz Winter School of Theoretical Physics
Winter School of Theoretical Physics in Karpacz is a long-standing tradition at the University of Wroclaw. This year was the main topic "Understanding the Origin of Matter from QCD" and took place in karpacz, Poland on 26.2 - 4.3. Several students from FNSPE participated in this school namely Ing. David Horák, Ing. Lukáš Kramárik, Bc. Jakub Kvapil, Bc. Jakub Cimerman, Bc. Peter Pribeli, Bc. Josef Uchytil, Bc. Zuzana Gajdošová and Bc. Radka Sochorová. David, Lukáš and Jakub presented their posters and Jakub won the "Best experimental poster" award.
